Peter Watts is a great (Canadian) author. He merges Canada’s literary style with hard science fiction.
As far as I can tell, most of his writing is available on his website. If you enjoy science fiction, do yourself a favour and read his Sunflower cycle.
Great book, was surprised the article wasn’t from the same era.
Now I’ll have to re-read it.
