This is the way to do it. It’s a race between a single Democratic Party candidate and a single Green Party candidate, so no concern about a spoiler effect. It’s at a lower level of government, so it’s actually a winnable race. If Kozonis-Marudas wins the race, she can prove to her electorate that her policies and those of the Green Party are beneficial. If interested, she can then run for higher office, campaigning on her achievements.
There ya go!

Agreed in full.

If there was a spoiler effect though, curious as to what should be done in that case. I know there are cases where Dems have sat back and endorsed independents (Bernie Sanders being the most prominent example) - this feels a little too much like backroom dealing to me, but on the other hand I recall a case where a guy was actually kicked out of (a local) office, but who ran in the by-election and won because the other two candidates who were running split the vote. So the guy got re-elected with just a plurality.
Everyone look at how OP engages with people in these posts. They are clearly here to spread propaganda and engage in bad faith.
I didn’t write the article, friend. Thank you!
To be fair, the OC was speaking about engagement. So the point was unrelated to the article itself, but more on the general style of engagement (like in the comments).
