Before anyone gets too excited, they’re going to use RISC-V for watches and such (Wear OS), but it’s still a big step towards having Android phones use RISC-V and major adoption. Maybe RISC-V is closer than we thought!

    Google’s Tensor G3 is made by Samsung using their Exynos stuff, could you explain a little as to why that’s different and also why it has similar update restrictions to Snapdragon?

    I can follow things like who uses which platform, they advertise it at us but don’t go beyond the marketing bs. Anything involving how they effect things like updates is purposely obscured from people like me who are interested but not knowledgeable enough to understand the tech at that level.
