Never quit unless you’re already hired somewhere else. Just start doing your job just shit enough you’re not going to be fired but you put in minimal effort.

That being said I have outright quit some jobs, and while it’s scary to be financially insecure, sometimes the jobs are just that much worse. These days though, if you have a bike or car you can just Uber/door dash for petty cash while applying to real jobs if you absolutely need to quit; and worse case scenario go by a day labor/temp staffing place for daily money.

Employers need you far more than you need them if you’re willing to work.
