I’ve seen trailers and advertisements for this movie, and nothing about it looks interesting or entertaining. Is it like Luca and Soul and Elemental? Because while those weren’t bad movies, they weren’t worth the price of admission for a family of four. Mediocre movies aren’t good enough. There was a time when you went to the movies every weekend because it was the thing to do. It was cheap, they had air conditioning, and you could meet all your friends there.

Now, it’s not cheap, there are tons of alternatives, and while I appreciate the ability to pick my seats, it does introduce an element of planning that means you can’t just show up and expect to get a ticket at the box office. It doesn’t matter that it’s a kid’s movie, it still has to be a better alternative to all of my other options.
