approximately 4% have faced these allegations

      Key word: “allegations”

4% isn’t even bad for people in a position of power. That’s probably normal considering around ~5% of the population has pedophilic urges. And there is no “cover up,” the Church takes abuse very seriously.

If you are disparaging my religion I am in fact a victim of hate.

        Extremely suspicious copium.

        Your turn to source

And there is no “cover up,” the Church takes abuse very seriously.

        https://www.france24.com/en/europe/20230306-pope-john-paul-ii-covered-up-child-abuse-as-cardinal

Literally done by a cardinal/pope. And that’s just one example out of many. You can look up more as I’m not providing hundreds of sources.

If you are disparaging my religion I am in fact a victim of hate.

My friend, you can’t be a victim of having your bad ideas challenged and mocked. No one is born a catholic, it’s not an inalienable part of you. There is no bigotry to be found in disparaging beliefs. But when Catholics disparage minorities, THAT is hate.

It’s called being realistic, something you’re having a hard time at because you’re having so much fun discriminating against me and my religion.

And hey smart ass there’s this thing called google:

Come back to me when you’re not linking fake news (and if it’s real, shit happens everywhere! this is like saying “one school covered up a sex abuse scandal, schools must be pedophile rings!”)

My friend, you can’t be a victim of having your bad ideas challenged and mocked. No one is born a catholic, it’s not an inalienable part of you. There is no bigotry to be found in disparaging beliefs.

Right, so suddenly Islamophobia isn’t real either? Grow tf up and kick rocks asshole! Religious discrimination is as much discrimination as racism or homophobia!

But when Catholics disparage minorities, THAT is hate.

People of all groups disparage minorities, Catholics don’t do anything unique… only difference is Jesus makes it very clear hate is unacceptable, so by disparaging minorities you are disobeying Him and being a fake Catholic.

And hey smart ass there’s this thing called google:

1-5% interesting that you’ve cherry picked the high end estimate, rather than say the middle of the range (2.5%) like someone being intellectually honest might.

Right, so suddenly Islamophobia isn’t real either?

No that’s just racism repackaged. It’s hating people for looking/sounding/acting differently. Not for their ideas. There is a bit of a grey area because highly religious people tend to include those ideas so thoroughly into their identity that it appears to be the same thing.

Hey dumb ass you know the mean of 1% and 5% is 3%? That’s only 1% short of your supposed “pedophile priests” “estimate” (which includes unproven ALLEGATIONS need I remind you).

You realize people still hate Muslims that are white and only speak English? How about shutting up?
