I was at a pride event last month, and there were two guys spewing religious nonsense over a loudspeaker close enough that you could hear it from the event.
A few of the event supporters were there holding signs and blocking out the scripture duo’s hate speech using their own loudspeaker.
At one point, the good guy started asking the religious nut job about why they aren’t protesting against priests raping kids.
He kept asking that question until the Jesus freak, clearly irritated, yelled, “because it doesn’t matter!”
Man if we could target 10% of the hate priests get for that towards teachers doing the same thing we might actually be able to protect most children from abuse.
