To be fair the case is actually closed now. Russia has denied it so we can now say with absolute certainty that the kremlin was behind this.

Why bother denying it? Everyone in the world knows that everyone that dies as a result of disagreeing with Putin is killed by Putin. It’s not even a little secret.

Honestly I would think less shit of them at this point if they just admitted to their garbage doings. Denying it just makes them seem like spineless pussies in addition to the horrid monsters they already are.

It was a public execution by Putin to remind Russians, and especially Russia’s elites, that no one survives opposing the Kremlin’s master.

Has there been any definitive proof that he is dead or was on that plane? Looking for genuine answers that are sourced if you got it.

I don’t buy that this guy is dead yet. Not with all the body doubles and goofy fake passports this dude had.

Doing this from Russia, taking a death that is, is much harder. For one he would have needed to take down his plane and those in it. Lots of people would have looked at it in that time. Then he would need to escape from Russia.

If he were to fake his death, this does not seem an easy way to do it.

That is quite possible mind you I would think the other people on the plane would make it known he was not on the plane. Before the crash that is.

Nope, and even if there was it would be from Russian sources so you couldn’t really trust it anyway. Kremlin says they had nothing to do with the plane crash either, but, you know.

From whom would Prigozhin try to hide by faking his death? From Putin / MoD, but Russia can easily check the bodies DNA. Doesn’t really make sense.

They identified him by a missing finger. They should definitely confirm with DNA.

The angle I’m considering is that Russia wants to convince the world he is dead. However that doesn’t make much sense either because he could reveal himself at any moment and hasn’t done that.

So perhaps he wanted Putin to think he got him so that he can shake him off his back for good? It’s possible but it seems really unlikely.

I’m not really sure what to think. From the half hearted coup to now, the series of events that played out didn’t add up well for me. Perhaps he really is dead and things are just as weird as they seem for no particular reason at all.

Prigozhin can’t fake his death from Putin. Simple DNA analysis of the bodies would reveal there’s no Prigozhin among the dead.

Look the dude just fell out of a window.

    While in a plane.

After all, what is the sky if not an enormous window one should be careful to not fall out of?

I wonder who they’ll blame. My money’s on the CIA. Even if it’s obviously a lie, suggesting Ukrainians were able to breach security at Moscow airport might be too embarassing.

Budanov is my prime suspect and yes I applaud him for it. Especially for making it look like Putin did it, to further destabilise the regime. Two birds one stone and all.

In that sense yes it’s appalling how Putin is trying to deflect blame away from himself. He totally did it. Wagnerites go get him. Blaming Ukraine is insane they’d never be capable of pulling it off.
