“Angeles Bejar said her strike would last “until a solution is found to the inhumane and bloody hunt they are carrying out against my son with something he does not deserve”, according to EFE news agency.”

Won’t be too long before there is a solution. He will go…

“My son is incapable of hurting anyone,” Bejar said.

It’s this parenting mentality that causes people to think they can do what they want.

If you raise them like a little prince, they’re gonna act like little princes.

What? Even in the best interpretation, he did something that’s labeled both serious and questionable, and he’s been suspended until it’s investigated and resolved. Which, y’know, is the way reasonable adults work on issues like this.

In the worst interpretation (which is where I lean), I suspect he has a history of misogyny, intrusion, entitlement, and at least sexual harassment and likely sexual assault. When Hermoso publicly said she did not consent, she was immediately backed by her entire team refusing to play while he was in office. When he refused to step down, something like 12 coaches/managers/etc resigned. Members of the men’s team are also supporting Hermoso. Which sounds like everyone under him who sees him even irregularly, believes he would sexually assault an unconsenting person. Which really sounds like he has the potential history I described.

I mean, this level of narcissism, self-importance and shamelessness is exactly what you’d expect from someone who casually commits light sexual harassment in public and then refuses to stand down for it … so she’s ironically establishing that her son is more likely to be guilty not only because he’s likely to be self-absorbed like his mother but also because he was probably raised to feel as special as a self-absorbed mother would feel about their son.

She obviously didn’t do a good job raising him, with him working at Fifa and all
