CAIRO, March 23 (Reuters) - Islamic State released on Saturday a photo of what it said were the four attackers behind a shooting rampage that killed at least 143 people in a concert hall near Moscow on Friday, the militant group’s Amaq news agency said on Telegram.
“The attack comes within the context of a raging war between the Islamic State and countries fighting Islam,” Amaq added in a statement citing security sources.
Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack but there were indications that Russia was pursuing a Ukrainian link, despite emphatic denials from Ukrainian officials that Kyiv had anything to do with it.

What are they even attacking russia, there is israel right infront of them killing other muslims…
Heheh you act like russia hasn’t been poking them in the eye for decades. Plus, they prob had this attack in the works long before Hamas attacked.
ISIS doesn’t care about other Muslims, and in fact seems to hate them quite strongly
ISIS is Sunni (the majority of Muslims) and the Sunni extremists like ISIS hate the Shia Muslims (mostly Iraq and Iran).
I have a hard time believing that ISIS would give a shit about more moderate Sunnis.
Hamas and ISIS are technically at war according to their leadership but that’s only because the leaders disagree on who should be in charge after they genocide all the Jews and Christians in the middle east. In reality, Hamas and ISIS share a number of members.
You are supposed to be distracted from that.
Oh Im sorry, I didnt mention this, … what I wrote, … in my other comment …
IsIS has been doing this for a while now actually. But they’re thankfully a lot weaker than before.
If ISIS wanted to get noticed they would attack Israel.
This attack is very out of place and feeds into the many rumors out there.
Russia has been part of the coalition fighting ISIS for a long time, it would make sense for them to be a target
