There are so many organizations with the same name, albeit with a few differences. Some have “socialism”, “communism”, “labor” and “people” in their names, but don’t respect the ideology in their title. Some of them have been banned as extremist organizations.
My assumption is that most of the surviving parties that haven’t been banned believe in the multi-party system, and are home to intellectuals, as opposed to revolutionaries. The fate of original communist is also hard to understand, like for example the All-India Forward Bloc and Hindustan Socialist Republic Association.

In lots of places the burguesie managed to turn revolutionary parties into academic ones. Thats a huge win for them. But lets not confuse academics and intellectuals. You can have a revolutionary intelectual and it can do great for the movement, Lenin being the prime example.
That said, i share this frustration. One “communist” party here was discussing how lukaks aesthetics are still relevant today, while not saying a single word about gaza. Fuck the academics
You can always start your own if you have the time, dedication, and willingness to do so. Not everyone is a revolutionary leader obviously but if you see that revolutionary thought is lacking its worth considering organizing on your own accord. Entrench yourself in these already established groups and poach from them, spread the ferver for revolution where it needs to be spread.
Again its not for everyone but those sorts of people are necessary, if you have the capacity please. If you are not that sort of person, join a reading group and argue your case; you dont need to be a leader to teach
I would really like to support CPI (Marxist), but I can’t help thinking about Jyoti Basu’s blunder. Also, Jyoti destroyed West Bengal - as someone who is a academic puritan, he was loyal to his ideals and was bad as a leader.
My parents are strong Gandhi loyalists and support INC, who have the most number of seats in the I.N.D.I.A coalition. If only the CPI and CPI(M) could merge to become a bigger party.

Naxalites are Maoists. They have been banned by the Indian government, declared a terrorist organisation, and are limited to the Naxal corridor in Central India. Naxals are pro-gun, which I’m against, as they’re weapons of mass destruction. I guess I’m more of a stick and knife person. I’ll be thrown in the jail under UAPA.
Rural tribal revolution will fail in casteist India, because these tribals will have their character questioned - they will be called barbaric, unruly and other pejoratives. Only urban labour revolution will succeed, with minimal bloodshed. Like for example, the farmer’s protest in India, and students protest for government exams.
