I don’t think so. People didn’t switch to privacy friendly messengers because everyone was using WhatsApp, even though there was a benefit to it, so I don’t see why people would switch to a TikTok messenger when there is no benefit to it at all.
Because people are idiots.
They’ll use it because they already have the app open and they can’t be bothered to switch to their messaging app
