Name the last boycott that had a significant impact. Go ahead, I’ll wait.

The world is too interconnected these days for public to sway things. Megacorps are in a self-sustaining cycle now. Want to avoid Nestle products? Doesn’t matter, Nestle has multi-year contracts with all the major supermarkets. It doesn’t matter if demand goes down, they have to keep purchasing the same amount they agreed to or they’re in breach of contract. And those contracts run much longer than the attention span or moral outrage of those boycotting them, or at least the vast majority. They know they can outwait any boycott because 5 or 6 months down the line, most people will have forgotten or given up and gone right back to buying cheap, garbage food.

That’s the problem. Sometimes in the last decade, the public lost the ability to vote with their wallet.

They can’t reproduce at the same rate as we can bomb them, just keep killing them until there’s no one to inherit the money
