I like to feel the vibrations and a car is the most efficient space to have that environment in.
Without late fees there is no incentive to pay on time. I don’t understand the rationale to remove them entirely, though regulating maximums makes sense.
I mean if you live on the border with Ohio, you are basically in the Midwest culturally.

The basic math there obviously doesn’t jive if you take a second to think about it. Even if it’s 1/10 of the population, the defense budget is only about $20k per person which is not nearly enough money to change anything.
The healthcare budget (about 5x the defense budget) should be plenty to provide healthcare if it wasn’t for privatized insurance mucking the whole thing up
Everyone always jumps to defense spending which is not the problem. Defense spending creates hundreds of thousands of well paying jobs to American citizens. The large majority of the money used to produce military goods goes back into the economy.
Prefer dead. Estate taxes would be a field day

That’s a crazy slippery slope. US will never shit where it eats. Land war sucks and the US military is highly aware of this.
It definitely depends on your job and your industry. Coming up on 9yrs. Pay has climbed from ~$35/hr to $70/hr plus bonuses via promotions and yearly merit. Note that’s hourly so none of the “oh you are salary so you really work 60 hour weeks but get paid for 40” bullshit.
Gotta follow at least one of the two rules
