I love this movie and have seen it many times, but I’m not sure rewatching it makes it all that much different. Do you have any examples to share?
Just FYI, the striped pole attached to the hydrant is so it can be found under snow.
Sounds like he might not necessarily have intended to kill himself so much as to just burn the house down.
It’s not as though they’re not given the opportunity to become a state. They have voted in the past for things to stay as-is. If I recall, it was a pretty close vote, however.
You don’t fucking say.
It’s almost like switching from monarchism and aristocracy to oligarchism and capitalism didn’t really change much of anything. I’m very shocked.
Your lungs have a best buy date. Good luck! Oh, and your new pancreas? Fuggetaboutit.
All these years, I’ve been expecting China to kick off World War III, and here we are now with it looking like it’ll be Russia or Israel. That’s not to say China’s not still in the running, but how things have changed.
I am, but I probably shouldn’t be. My organs are…not in the best shape.
I still check it very occasionally because my family and a few friends are on there. I don’t know how they stand it; it’s been 95+% ads for at least a year now.
“Vibe” is just a regular noun.
I prefer to live in the middle of nowhere(ish) aside from the conservative culture which inevitably comes with it. I also like walkable city areas. I completely hate anything in between.
I don’t know if I could ever deal with (American) upstairs neighbors again in my life. The percentage of inconsiderate people meeting the percentage of multi-family housing with basically no soundproofing is a recipe for sleeplessness and rage.
Oh, I get that. But if it’s not something you’re willing and able to deal with, then you shouldn’t be going up there to begin with.
The culture in Idaho is such a shame. It’s a really beautiful state, especially up north (where most of the Nazis are).
Hydro is terrible for fish, anyway.
It has always blown my mind that they leave all their shit and garbage up there. Any and all responsible hikers, backpackers, and mountain climbers have a “pack it in, pack it out” policy. It’s the norm. Yeah, packing shit sucks, but you love nature, so you deal with it.
Oh sure, this is obviously extremely anecdotal. I am on the closer to Gen X side of millennial, so I’m sure that will impact my experience as well. And then, of course, there are always outliers.
We all do it.
I have a friend who is too beautiful (and unfortunately meek) for her own good, attracting stalker types with horrifying regularity. This is a great change.
