The laws governing public schools should apply to any school that receive public funds. Many private schools would quickly crumble given how chaotic and disorganized I’ve heard they are from teachers that left working in private schools.

Segregation should not be allowed in the education system.

There are even public schools still using corporal punishment, although the school has to have approval from the parents.

Trump won TX in 2020 by only 631,221 votes. If we have better turnout this year, we could make TX blue! The polls are only busy on the final day to vote, even though we have a 2 week long voting period with the polls open during the same hours as election day during the entire 2nd week of voting. Don’t wait until the last day and check if your local polling places are open on the weekend!

Use your knuckles and the space between from left to right. The higher points are longer months.

The left pinky knuckle is January, the space between pinky and ring knuckle is February, the ring knuckle is March and so on. The left index knuckle will be July and you continue with August being the right hand index knuckle. In 2020, there were 21.5 million people in the voting age population, of which 16.95 million were registered to vote, and of those 11.3 million cast a vote. Of the votes, Trump receuved 5,890,347 votes and Biden received 5,259,126.

Hopefully we will have even better turnout this Oct/Nov. We were the first state to have an in-person early voting period and unfortunately, over 40 years later, isn’t well-utilized.

In 1960, the total population was 179,323,175 and the total nonwhite population was 20,491,443. If we keep the 1 in 20 estimate (or 5%), then there was an estimated 8,966,159 LGBTQ+ people in 1960, less than half of the amount of the non-white population. about 4 times as many non-whites in 1860 during the other guy’s lifetime.

Cub Scouts is age 5-10 Boy Scouts age 10-18th birthday Venturing 14-21st birthday

I thought I had remembered them allowing some boys. I know of a male girl scout leader.

Not only separate tents, but the boys’ tents are grouped together and girl tents are grouped together with the adult tents in between those two groups. There also must be at least 1 adult of each sex.

Teenagers are full of hormones through puberty and many begin experimenting. Boy Scouts don’t age out until they are 18.

Boy Scouts can join a troop at 10 and age out at 18. It’s not uncommon for high schoolers to begin experimenting sexually.

Further there’s also a branch of Boy Scouts called Venturing that is co-ed where participants age out at 21.

The Girl Scouts started accepting boys years before the boy scouts started accepting girls around 10 6 years ago.

They had boys and girls in different tents to prevent them from having sex. I’m not sure how they deal with lgbt scouts.

Edit: Boys Scouts first allowed girls into Venturing, a program for those 14-21st birthday. Girls were allowed into Boy Scout troops and in Cub Scouts in 2018.

Cis boys aren’t allowed in Girl Scouts.

Remember originally that -1 was 1 BC, meaning 1 year before the birth of christ. The negative numbers are measuring the distance away from 0.

Edit: in the positive direction, the 1 was 1 AD, meaning the first year of our lord. Just like when talking about the reign of kings/queens, the first year of their reign is 1 and the 14th year that they reigned is 14. I believe the timekeeping for Ages in LOTR may also be similar.

Dallas proper has some light rail around downtown with a couple lines that travel outward, and even a train that goes from Downtown Dallas to downtown Fort Worth. It’s still difficult to get to a lot of places outside downtown, the American Airlines Center, and the State Fair ground though.

Houston I think has some buses, but it would also be difficult to get too far from downtown.
