He/him. Trying out some different instances. If you see this handle on another instance, it’s probably me, unless someone else also stole it from Campaign: Skyjacks.

Hey, it worked for Ukraine.
Yes, hand the executive branch to the guy who attempted a coup to stay in power last time, backed by the Project 2025 guys, and come back in 4 years for the election that will surely still actually take place. Sure. Great plan.
Well, yeah, I agree in that sense. I just meant that, if Biden dropped out, there would be a bunch of Democratic electors who would be uncommitted. As opposed to if someone dropped out after being elected to Senate or the like, which would probably lead to the government appointing a temporary replacement and scheduling a special election.
You’re preaching to the choir here. If I could throw Biden out and replace him with, I don’t know, Sanders or AOC or someone, I would in a heartbeat.
I agree with you. Trump is, unfortunately, on track to win. And if Trump wins, the death of American democracy is imminent, and none of us are going to like what’s next.
The problem is, if Trump wins, there likely won’t be a next time. He’s out there saying as much on the campaign trail, and he’s tried it before.
Technically, that only really applies for the Presidential election, largely because of the Electoral College. But still, you should never vote for any Republicans anyway, because even affiliating with that den of snakes at this point tells you all you need to know about that candidate.
Lots of people are stupid.
In many ways, our society encourages such stupidity.
I don’t get how anyone can see this debate as high stakes. I feel like anyone who’s been paying any sort of attention knows who these two guys are and what they’re about. If you’re a fascist, you’re voting Trump. If you’re not, the only question is whether you’re going to vote Biden or stay home.
Also, please don’t stay home. Biden sucks, but Trump is basically openly promising the end of American democracy at this point.
That picture isn’t directly related. I think it was taken at the 2016 RNC. I know it’s been a meme since roughly that time.
Rabin was closer than anyone to ending it, and Netanyahu’s stochastic terrorism led directly to his death. And he’s been propping up Hamas ever since, to give Israel an enemy to hate and prevent peace from ever coming to the region.
Fuck him, he owns it now.
From what I understand, a lot of Israelis are rather unkind towards Holocaust survivors. Which is fucking wild to me.
I got really lucky, in that I had made a Costco run shortly before the shit hit the fan and didn’t have to worry about toilet paper while it was in short supply (not hoarding, I had just stocked up like I usually do). Actually ended up handing out a few rolls to friends and neighbors who were having a harder time than I was.
It probably helped that I got a bidet a few months in, and that cut my TP usage dramatically while making my butt also feel cleaner and less irritated.
I fought the info and the info won
Yeah, it is an interesting statistic, isn’t it? It definitely doesn’t seem like the kids moving away for better economic prospects is the only factor here.
As awful as Kansas can be, at least we have a Democratic governor who protects us from most of the worst of this shit (though the legislature occasionally overrides her veto).
I’m really afraid of what happens when she gets term limited out. I really hope we don’t end up with a Republican governor again, because Kansas Republicans are the worst of the worst of the worst. We gave the world Sam Brownback.
If the guy went armed into a KKK meeting, it’s pretty obvious what he’s doing. I wouldn’t have a lot of sympathy for the KKK guys, because fuck them, but it’s pretty obvious at that point that the guy is playing vigilante.
It’s also worth noting that the first two people he shot were unarmed, and everyone who was in the vicinity thought he was an active shooter.
P.S. Self-defense isn’t murder.
What Kyle did wasn’t self defense. I don’t give a damn what the court said, he went looking for trouble with a gun in his hand.
Fortunately, no. He did his time in the late 80s.
