You can check out the toolkit over at Permapeople.org, though I’m unsure exactly how open the codebase is. I do know they’re hoping to make it community run in the future, and that the devs share pretty much whatever is asked of them.
Less in the spirit of your question, but something I’ve used relatively extensively is the mymaps.google tool. Here’s hoping someone with some better answers than me comes along (and I remember to check back) to give additional alternatives
My wife has gotten used to this but some of the neighbors still judge a bit. Then again, we’re the house with the hummingbirds and tons of other nesting migratory birds as well as the house with lightning bugs
Push for it in your state, first. We’re still in the first few cycles using RCV in Maine (I like STAR better) where folks are learning to love it, but there’s no time like now to get that ball rolling. More people need to experience it to shift the national conversation of “whether we should” to “which should we use”

MH4U on the 3ds was my first introduction and I actually kinda miss being able to quickly tap the items that were up on the touch screen to use them. World on PS and Rise on the switch scratch the itch but I was visibly upset that tracking didn’t make it into Rise; it was just a great mechanic and it felt extra satisfying to build out the monster knowledge, and it added some wonderful depth to the gameplay.
I’m not really all that crazy about the fort defense mechanic in Rise, I’d genuinely skip it if I could.
As much as I enjoy the series and still play it, there’s a certain amount of ennui that I’m experiencing when it comes to hunting Jaggis and the rest of the same monsters every time. New mechanics help to make up for it by having the hunt be slightly different, but wow what I wouldn’t give for a totally new experience playing Monster Hunter.

Iirc the leaked internal docs and reporting showed that nvidia was downloading 81 years worth of video per day. If the pattern holds, and we “throw” the books at them, it probably looks a lot like one of those building-sized front end loaders dropping the library of Alexandria on those executives.
As an alternative, I would be fine if nvidia were no longer allowed to hold copyright or trademarks since the company believes that those don’t matter, required to share all internal documents (including any and all planning), and required to open source all their code until the company implodes
Here’s hoping the plaintiffs can bring the leaked internal docs from nvidia’s management directing engineers to violate the TOS of several sites to show a pattern of malfeasance, and that the judge has at least a modicum of understanding regarding these topics. Throw the book(s) at 'em.
Chewing will cause them to mix as well, but there’s less time for the compounds to catalyze and “mature” to change the flavor very much
I used to drive a lot for work, and it kind of ruined the transition lenses for me but other folks’ mileage may vary
My biggest gripe with transition lenses is that they won’t change while operating a vehicle, since most windshields are also uv treated. I’d rather have lenses that clip or a pair of sunglasses to swap to
If you have to wear them constantly, like I do, remember to wipe them down with a gentle soap periodically. The spaces between the frames and the lenses will collect gunk that makes you think something is in your eyes and drive you crazy.
@paris mentioned one online retailer already but to give you another option: I’ve been using Zenni for my prescriptions for a few years now and have been happy with them.
Sometimes a vendor or optometrist isn’t contracted with your vision plan, but you can often submit for reimbursement; some health insurances (since eye health isn’t health, somehow) will also allow you to submit for reimbursement so check your policies, if applicable.
I tend to order two non-tinted pairs and a pair of prescription sunglasses when my Rx changes noticeably - one pair is made of safety polycarbonate (shatter/puncture resistant) and the other is more standard, but it’s nice to have options to choose from. As you go through them, please make sure to donate your old prescriptions! I’ve sent most of mine to the Peninsula Special Interest Lions Club in CA but there are a number of charities that will send your old lenses and frames to people who need them
It’s not just that, but the number of cuts made also increases the amount of different compounds mixing after being separated by cell walls which causes them to form new compounds.
