This story has an extra chromosome. Florida Cop might too.
Right there with ya.
Still might want to practice on a hot dog or something afterwards though.
Good old fashioned enshitification.
I’m experimenting with Pop_OS on a laptop as my daily driver after playing with different distros in VM environments over the years. There’s definitely a learning curve, but so far so good.
Any recommendations on a piracy-friendly e-reader? I don’t want to go around the world to get root access either if I can help it.
Am I brain damaged or is part of the joke the fact that the screenshot isn’t legible?
Ninja Edit Nevermind. The Boost app seems to default to low res images.
Honestly, how much better can they get? I love to have the latest gadgets as much as the next guy, but I’ve got bills and shit too.
Still rocking my Pixel 4a.
I would trust Gabe’s judgement 100%. Dude runs one of the most pro-consumer companies in history. In doing so, he has built a fiercely loyal fan base by simply being good to his customers; not trying to squeeze them for every single cent.
Gabe is a rarity; part of a bygone era of business owners and software engineers who truly care about their projects and want to build things that they themselves want to use and play. He’s a smart man and Valve has been his baby since he left Microsoft. He’ll make sure it’s in good hands when and if retirement comes calling.
Look at Daddy Warbucks over here.
At one point the Steam Deck design and engineering team strongly opposed installing a third party SSD for various reasons ranging from power draw to EMI. Is this still the case?
I’ve been a tinkerer since I was a child and have no problem tearing into electronics for the hell of it, but I also have the wisdom to listen to people who know more than I do. I’d rather not damage my expensive toy.
It’s a good selling point for the 512GB model. I don’t have to see how fugly I am during my loading screens.
I love my Steam Deck and have recently made small steps in my journey away from Windows. I installed Pop OS on a laptop. Do you have any tips that might make that transition easier?
Thanks in advance. 👍
The safe word is “harder.”
