A used ps4 is probably the best value in gaming right now. For ~$200 you can get the console and a bunch of games.

Almost every smartphone usb port is 2.0 as well. USB C is just a connector folks.

That’s how I installed, however I think I messed up the install folder screwing around. I have two instances, one with no users and email has also stopped working on that one. I’ll try to just go back through the basic ansible instructions from scratch and see if that works, I can always roll it back.

I wouldn’t care if I had to use multiple messanger apps. There used to be a pc program that let you login to msn, irc, and yahoo messanger all at once and manage your accounts in one place.

i have dissasembled batteries to recharge the 81650 cells inside then reassemble. If they drop below a certain threshhold then the protection circuit won’t charge them. I have a special charger/tester for lithium cells and a battery tab welder. It’s only worth it if the replacement is unavailable and it’s for something very rare.

It’s a community only instance. If two big instances defederate from each other, then those users can still visit the same old community. I also don’t have to follow any rules set by admin which don’t really apply to dull content in the first place. Plus I just like growing the fefiverse and the idea of decentralization.

If I subacribe or visit any communities elsewhwere then those will show on the all feed on my instance. So I just have an admin account over there.

It gives you a bit more freedom in that you can federate or defederate with whatever instance you want, you can make your own communities that are free from other instance admin descisions like fed/defed. Less risk of losing your account.

I own dullsters.net but I keep it “pure” by not using that account out here. That way any outside visitor to the site only sees dull stuff.
