I want (my employer) to be able to choose my death panel (without my input, based on how it affects their shareholder profits) in the free market!
Fixed it for you ;)

I know its super pedantic, but the word “accident” really grinds my gears in this context.
The proper terminology is “crash”… accident infers that there is no fault or misconduct.
My partner’s family lives on a dirt road between a corn field and cow pasture… a full 1.5 hour drive from the nearest mid-sized city… they have gigabit fiber…
Not saying that their situation is currently typical, but id argue it is indeed a sign that good internet is slowly but surely coming available to everyone.
Its worth noting, your numbers are super misleading…
the manufactured home cost in the bob vila article includes the entire house (foundations, land clearing, utilities, finishes, permit fees, etc)… aka, for the 270k, youre getting a move-in ready house.
The 3D printed home cost in your builtin article appears to only include the basic structure (aka the cheap part). Still gotta pay teams of people to come on-site to do everything else. The cheapest they mentioned was $299k for a move-in ready house.
The best option is to ditch the car entirely… buy an ebike instead for the price of 1 car payment, or move to an area with ample sidewalks/mass transit…
Definitely a big task, but is certainly more viable than buying a car with cash… (it most certainly was for me at least…)
Personally, i think every infraction on the road should require your Drivers license gets revoked until you go to the dmv & retake your drivers test.
Speed? Blow a stop sigh? Illegally park? All of it should require a retest in order to regain your driving privileges…
I have… Was on a poorly designed bike lane where the straight bike lane & right turn lane merged at the intersections. I stopped at the red light waiting for the light to turn green (as your supposed to do).
A car pulled in behind me and immediately started honking and putting his head out the window to berate me for blocking his right turn on red. I was actually terrified & was one of the interactions that made me reconsider using my bike as transportation.
For me, its the 3 large cast iron grates that sit above the burners.
Gotta remove them to do even the most quick/basic wipe down & they’re awkward/heavy. They dont fit in the dishwasher & only fit in the sink at an angle, which leads to scratching up the sink.
I went from electric to gas a couple years ago moving to a new apartment.
The most jarring part of the transition was the fumes. You can really smell the pollution.
The dial means nothing… the flame gets a bit bigger/smaller, but there really isnt the same level of granular control as an electric.
I find myself constantly worrying about bumping the handles.
Bitch to clean…
Overall, not impressed & cant wait to go back to electric.
“The coin game” has some of the best designed minigames ive ever seen!
The game is essentially just a collection of minigames, but it is put together incredibly well
