I’ve had my Pixel 5 since around the time the 6 came out. The battery life isn’t great, but I can get by just fine. Maybe Samsung phone batteries are better, but before this I had a Samsung Galaxy. The battery on that was no better. I know this is anecdotal, but I don’t plan to switch when my 5 croaks.

Yeah, they would wait for me in most meetings. In 75% of the meetings I participate in, I’m a key person and have to provide meaningful information, some of it based on the discussion in the meetings. If I had “mic issues” in them, they’d want me to start showing up early to address them before the meeting. And thus we’re back to square one.

I have all that turned off. A new chat pertaining to the meeting is added to the list of chats, but I don’t see that unless I’m looking at the Teams window.

You can’t have peace and be oppressing people, not really. If the oppressed stand up to the oppression, there will be fighting. So, it’s more like the early stages of a fight. The same as when you’re starting a campfire and you get a few embers, it’s not really a campfire yet, but it’s still a fire. In this case, the embers may last a long time, but the full fire is coming.

Also, in the definition of peace is tranquility. Oppression and tranquility do not overlap.

I think your take is probably just antiquated and contains a bit of sexism, homophobia, and racism. I don’t mean to say that you are those things, but the roots of that take come from that position. That’s not the statistic I’ve seen. It was in the 30s last I saw. Among Republicans it was still fairly high, like 60s, and higher among MAGA, but the general public was much lower. Can you cite a recent source for your number? Otherwise, I’ll bolo for some updated numbers.
