You’re right; it’s about pee.
Apparently cicadas send a stream of pee instead of droplets like most insects. Scientists studied them since a stream of pee should use more energy at their size and they are studying why/how they still use that method.

I really liked the atmosphere and world of Vesper, but the story was contrived and bland I felt.
I’ve seen District 9 mentioned as kind of biopunk, so maybe if that counts, I’d say that’s my favorite.

While, yes, everybody knows Catholic priests abuse kids or excuse priests abusing kids, being annoyed that somebody calls them out still (because they aren’t getting punished) is never the wrong thing. Instead of getting annoyed that people are still complaining about something bad happening, be annoyed that bad people are still enabling them.
I’m a bit surprised nobody mentioned the kernel-level anti-cheat, especially with Lemmy being a very security/privacy-centric place. That was implemented years after people spent money on the game and then basically stole the game/content unless you agreed to a huge change to the policy.
I stopped playing because they implemented that. There’s zero reason for that to ever be a thing in order to just play a game. Especially with the amount of machine-learning we have on what is and isn’t possible for humans to do, detection is completely possible server-side.
