But I looked it up and it seems like, at least some, Chinese hybrid SUVs in Mexico converting from current MXN to USD rate go for around $35-40k at their highest, premium tier. Some hybrid SUVs in the US at their bottom tier are currently $50k+. That’s such a wild fucking difference. Thinking about it, you’d probably need an address in Mexico to register it and whatever but I don’t see why or how they’d stop you at the border on the drive back home into the US. Not sure how maintenance or registration would go after that though, so maybe it’s not sustainable unless you have a consistent Mexican address. I hope someone out there gets around the system and drives in their affordable, premium Chinese car in the US. Death to tariffs.

I like running Linux on my Lenovo Ideapad. It wasn’t expensive and has everything I want, including easily running Linux.

The only thing is it’s not a popular laptop so it doesn’t have accessories, like cases or whatever.

I have Proton Premium so I use SimpleLogin, but since I already have BitWarden I skip on Pass. Just curious if it’s worth checking out for that.

I don’t normally get upset if people forget my name. But I did get upset once when I met a guy and he forgot me. I was hanging out with a mutual friend and was quickly introduced to this guy at a bar, then the same mutual friend and I were at the same bar when the next time I saw that guy he forgot he met me already but I shook his hand and reintroduced myself, this happened another time at the same bar which annoyed me but I went through the process, then the next time this happened at the same bar I told him we already met several times and refused to shake his hand because I already had shaken it before. He awkwardly laughed it off as I just stared him down, then he eventually left my friend and I to hang out alone.

Our mutual friend thought that was excessive on my part, but that guy sure as fuck remembered me after that.
