assuming “PC” doesn’t count… i’ll be a basic bitch and say nintendo switch. it’s the one i’ve played the most games on.

i tried to play the original about a decade ago and my partner at the time had to dodge me throwing the controller when the dogs jumped through the window. that’s when i knew i wasn’t cut out for playing horror games. (although i enjoy watching other people play them!)
starts at 53:30. the whole episode makes it, but the guy’s whole schtick is that he doesn’t believe in ghosts, and he spends most of the episode talking about how they’re a load of crap.
i assumed there was a doggy door. ;)
a dog. endless entertainment and snuggles.
i don’t remember it exactly, but i remember really, really loving the final scene in the first episode of the haunting of hill house. that episode remains one of my favorite episodes of tv, since i think it stand alone well even without the rest of the series.
Jericho
a series that died too young. 🥲
if she’s cleared for an agility career, she’s gonna be a foster fail. 😅
ooblets and fire watch are not difficult or lengthy games, but both were so enjoyable. i think casual games often get the short end of the stick unless there’s some online element a la animal crossing.
these are more rock than chiptune, but very much video game inspired!
this is such a mood. i’m still waiting for the next stardew valley.
i haven’t stopped playing tears of the kingdom since it was released. my partner and i swap the controller back and forth. currently on a mission to collect all the armor and get lots of it upgraded. still haven’t defeated ganon even though we totally could.
“well excuuuuuse me, princess!”
the witch is my personal favorite. i’ve heard it’s one of the most period-accurate movies of that era. the ending can be seen as good or bad for the protagonist. it’s slow and atmospheric which is my favorite kind of horror.
runner up: lamb is so bizarre and i went into it knowing absolutely nothing. very rewatchable!
dog sports and crochet/knitting. i spend about $200/month on agility lessons, plus entry fees. good yarn is not cheap.
i still use mybb to run a writing forum that’s been ongoing for 10+ years. :)
i really love stardew valley for a cozy co-op game. for something a little weirder and darker, crawl is a blast.
i don’t use calm, but another meditation app (balance). my favorite meditations are the ones meant to be done right before going to sleep. i set them playing, put my phone on the charger, and drift off to somebody’s pleasant voice guiding me to sleep. i’m sure calm has a sleep section, so take a look at that and see if it works for you. :)
i’ve poured hours upon hours into this game. it’s just a chill game (if you want it to be), and it’s fun to keep track of stuff to collect, talk to the NPCs, and go fight some baddies occasionally.
