Switched to Wayland recently. Went to go play MechWarrior 5 with some friends and my mouse didn’t work properly in the game. Switched back to Xorg. No more problems.

Solus was specifically designed to be for normal people and for you to have to use the terminal as infrequently as possible. However, the software selection is more limited than in other distros.
I have had less trouble printing on Linux than on Windows. YMMV.

The acquisition was in July of 2022, so it’s been about a year. It got talked about a little bit on r/android, but I’m surprised at how low key the whole thing was.
I use Hyperion Launcher. I bought Nova launcher back in the day, but I left immediately when it was acquired by a data collection and analytics company.
Hyperion launcher basically provides all the same features as Nova launcher. It’s a less intuitive to set up, but once you have it set up, it’s just as good.
