I understood about this earlier with the defederation of hexbear instance. So I moved to another. Preemptive defederation is something I don’t support. It should be the last resort.

What is the reason for the defederation?

I was on lemmy.world. It has some power tripping admins and also most of the time it is under attack. So I switched to the current one and it is fine and fast and stable most of the time.

I have found windows is easier to install every time. This is just another windows bad linux good post. Windows has so many issues, but installation is not one of them. Even my 10 year old cousin installs it fine.

Is it possible to turn it off? I feel more censorship here in lemmy than reddit. Lemmy.world had some power tripping mods. Joined lemm.ee. I don’t like curse words to be removed. If someone is personally attacking someone then can understand blocking him/her.

I moved to lemme.ee. i find the rules and regulations and reason for defederation in lemmy.world is so insane. and performance was also not good on lemmy.world. many users have made accounts on the server. Lemme.ee is fast and didn’t have any downtime till now.

I am staying in a men’s hostel. Cheaper that way as I am single. It is so hot here during summer. So we keep the door open at night. Three of us are there in the room. Everyone is ok with that.

For me the majority of my usage will go nicely with firefox. None of the streaming apps or services I use require DRM, because they are piracy sites. I don’t give a damn about pirating. Only if it is implemented then some banking services I use or food delivery service gonna use this. Which I don’t mind using chrome for. All others will be done through firefox. We can’t do anything against all these. So find some loop holes in the coming times to make it in our favor.

Yeah I don’t even see ad spaces. I don’t think it is because of dns adguard. It never removed ad spaces. Just the ads. But right now I am having a clean experience with no ads or stuff.

I don’t know why. I don’t have anything like that. 😅 I had been using sync pro for reddit. I have a similar look here. I am running adguard dns private dns for adblock. But it never removed the ad spaces in any app.
