Hey, I was the same age. I’ve gotten a lot better but if I’d learned years earlier, maybe I wouldn’t have had so much of my life where I was doped to the gills for being “weird and sensitive”.

I’ve never been able to make it through an entire episode of Community, for the same reason. It’s memeable, but I just don’t find it funny at all.
Gotcha! I’ve made enchilada sauce before but never used guajillo without tomatoes. It sounds wonderful! Thank you for this!
That looks delicious! Would you be willing to share the guajillo sauce recipe?
There aren’t a ton of really good women in earlier WWE, but I highly recommend watching AEW for women with fun stories right now. The Timeless Toni Storm storyline is amazing, and you can find a video on YouTube.
For my money, the best lore and wild character work was in Lucha Underground. I don’t know where to watch it right now, but it has dragons, zombies, moth men, phoenixes, and a crazy violent authority figure who runs the ring like a temple. It’s incredible.
ETA my partner just let me know Lucha Underground is streaming on Cineverse, which is ad supported. Check it out! It’s WILD.
Wrestling is kind of my thing, and if you want recommendations give me a shout.
The Undertaker was (for a long time) a literal zombie walking around by the grace of an urn held by his manager (and former real world undertaker) Paul Bearer.
Wrestling is full of dragons and monsters and people who can fly. It’s magical.
He got punched in the face for being a white supremacist dickhead.
I think it’s just a reference to being very far away from the speaker’s main area of residence. Plus it just rolls off the tongue delightfully.
Echoing Zero Escape. The twists and turns of the series are absolutely magical, and I wish I could play the end of 999 for the first time again.
I got lucky and was there when my partner played for the first time, and watching his shock was a treat!
I just discovered Penzeys recently and their smoked paprika is a staple in my kitchen now! It’s so vibrant.
Pickled cherries? That sounds delicious! What spices do you use for them?
It’s true, but they do exist!
Something Awful has been around since the very early 2000s, and they charge $10 to get an account, and the same to reinstate a banned account. It’s actually pretty nice because the fee tends to keep all but the most dedicated trolls from doing anything particularly stupid. And yes, I know they created 4chan, but the main forums are trying to be better people over the years.
There’s a mention of this in Alan Wake 2, with a character saying “it’s not sad if it’s intentional!”
I’ve been playing Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and I’m in love. This feels like a perfect bridge between Yakuza 6 and Like a Dragon. The play styles for fighting feel really clean and are actually fun, compared to some of the fight styles in earlier games.
I don’t know about spoiling enjoyment per se, but I do recommend at least playing 6. It sounds like you’ve already gotten through the early games. Are you enjoying yourself, or are you burning out on it?
This, absolutely. The claw catcher is my jam.
I have made something like this but subbing yellow and red peppers for the green. It definitely cuts the bitterness of the dish.
Same, at least for the parents. I’ve been at a couple of friends’ weddings and they were pretty delightful.
