This is quite centered around hetero dudes, which I find sad.

FlorisBoard (at least the beta) is getting there (swiped on FlorisBoard), though it’s not quite there yet
Can’t relate. It’s not harder to get your hands on a matrix account in comparison to a mail account. And for those that want it even easier, just download Element and you are guided through the default registration at matrix.org
Why not use VIM though?
Well it seems they don’t publish a signing key, so that’s a good reason against it.
I’ve been using metager for some while and really like it. They’re also part of an initiative pushing for a free as in freedom search index, so that’s nice
In my understanding a problem often is that electricity isn’t used when renewable electricity sources can provide it. One solution to this is storing it, another (complementary) one is to adjust the usage to times when there is a lot of renewable energy available. This especially makes sense for big consumers (like factories), but a lot of washing machines also sum up to a lot of electricity demand. So we have to adjust to mainly use electricity when it’s available via renewable sources, and this thing can hopefully help with that.
By saying that it cost around 5€ I meant that the material to build this cost me around 5€. I would happily set them up for free if one gave me the material for free, but the microcontroller and so on do cost some money.
The API and (of course) the source code are free (as in freedom, being AGPL licensed). And since I did my best to document it well and provide easy to follow instructions in the README, I do think I managed to make it free as in freedom.
Or just use Molly
Just use librewolf or any other installation method
Activism.
Resonate is really nice. There aren’t that many artists yet tho…
My brother pushed some buttons in Windows lockscreen, which caused assistance settings to never go away again (I still don’t know how I should’ve fixed it), that was the final annoyance with Windows and I switched to Linux on my laptop. On my PC I switched once I didn’t need Windows for work (remote desktop) anymore.
st (simple terminal from Suckless) with Solarized Dark color scheme. That’s it - it’s super fast, super simple, super lightweight, and still looks really pleasing. That is, if I am in a window-manager-workflow-mood (then in combination with dwm); otherwise I use the TTY with default configuration, except for the color scheme also being Solarized Dark. Why so minimal? I have a really old ThinkPad and it runs really smoothly with those configurations in Debian.
Lightweight.
Lightweight.
Can you give a source on the Hetzner claim? I’m curious and didn’t find anything online
