Ah, PC Gaming Wiki, what a fantastic resource. Made realize how many games in my libraries are actually DRM-free
So my fear of sharks has gotten better, and I don’t quite understand why.
Curious 🏳️⚧️
But anyhow, you’ve probably found me because you’ve seen one of my totally inconspicuous comments
I’m open to chat about these and other related things over on Matrix

I’d love for some big regulatory body forcing them to word it better and more clearly.
moisturize me
Enotria: The Last Song, it’s a soulslike set in colourful Italy, basically. Has some interesting mechanics for how builds and loadouts work.
Though I wasn’t able to play through the entire demo because I’m starved for video memory
Yeah. And I bet most, if not all of them would’ve been a lot happier with that feature. It makes things so much easier, so much more flexible.
It’s 2024 and GIMP will only now be getting the ability to do non-destructive editing through adjustment layers. It has been fine for many simple tasks, but for anything that’s more complex than a Lemmy shitpost, it’s been rough for that reason alone
It’s definitely more convoluted, but uBlock Origin can also selectively block pretty much anything, really. That being said, whatever tool you use, blocking any third party stuff per default is always a good start, to see how well any given site can work without it. Tells you a lot already
I was wondering where that issue came from
I had one big problem with VLC, in that it could not figure out which of my monitors I wanted the video to run fullscreen on. That was infuriating to the point I switched to MPV, and I’m very happy with it
As much as I hate him, a large majority of the games that are given away on that platform are fully DRM-free, and that’s pretty damn cool
One of those times where it sounded perfectly correct in my head, whoops
Others have said all the important things, but I wanted to add that there are things that Android always tunnels through a VPN, like internet connectivity checks.
So even with Always-ON and Block Connections, this will still ignore a VPN
There exists a frontend called Proxitok, but I can’t comment on how well it works or what it can do. The LibRedirect addon for Firefox can redirect you to the instance of your choosing.
Great addon in general, do check it out if you don’t know it already.
A very stupid gamer lesbian with a dash of chaos activist, that sounds about right
I still don’t get how cramming 108MP on this tiny of a sensor is going to help anyone with anything
I’ve never even heard of it. Anyway, use Graphene if you have a Pixel, and ideally DivestOS if you don’t
Firefox (at least on Android), actually violates the GDPR for connecting to Adjust without user consent.
So no need to look further for any privacy shenanigans, this is unbelievably disappointing, coming from Mozilla.
Hell, Lutris can even set up the original 1989 Sim City for you. Seeing that game on modern display sizes and resolutions is quite something
