  • My PS5 has 3.5 TB. 1TB internal, plus 2TB NVME, plus 512GB external.

My PC has 1TB NVME for windows, a 2TB NVME game drive, a 512GB NVME I’m not really sure what for yet, a 4TB SATA SSD backups drive, and 2TBs SATA SSD for media/downloads/older games. I also have an external 8TB HDD fo backups. So 9.5 TB of SSDs and 8TB external.

SSD prices have dropped massively lately. You should get a 2TB NVME drive, which you can easily find for $100 or less.

  • I have both and I prefer the steam deck. The Ally runs games better when they run, but the trip there always sucks, to the point that you never want to pick it up.

The Ally is actually much more of a “linux-like” experience because you can get more out of it, but you have to put a lot more work into it to get there. The steam deck is like a console.

  • I wasn’t necessarily directing the comment at you (I hadn’t even seen your other comment), but generally to people who say they dislike California. It’s a shitty attitude, so it feels a bit rich to then claim “the fact that you’re expressing being offended is exactly why I was justified in being shitty”. Blah. It’s all bullshit. Ignorant opinions don’t deserve a positive attitude in response.

And BTW, you see this ignorance in California itself. People in Southern California think Northern California is a burning crime-ridden hellscape. People in the North think SoCal is shallow and materialistic.

  • Sorry, but just throw it away. Your grinder will smell like artificial hazelnut for weeks if you grind it through. It might already be too late.

If it was just a roast you didn’t like, there’s a lot you can do. But when there’s artificial oil on it, you’re kind of screwed because that awful smell just lingers.

    If it’s already too late:

If you drink protein shakes, you could use the coffee with the protein as a workout supplement with caffeine. The artificial flavor will get lost in the artificial flavor of the protein.
