Really difficult indeed, subscribed to the student sub a while ago, was cheap compared to normal prices for the whole suite. However getting out of the deal was forcing me to pay up the rest of the yearly subscription price, yo could get around this by downgrading the subscription to photoshop only and then it would let you cancel without any additional payments. Such a shitty dark pattern to do but it’s Adobe so it’s expected 🤷

I’m using Memmy and it didn’t work at all for the last few days, it came online from time to time and I was able to see the posts which were synced / federated days ago so feddit.de wasn’t able to federate / refresh content properly. The app at the moment works but the website yeah no idea what’s happening there, hope don’t have to jump ship another time.

I’m not sure if this message will work but for some reason the app via feddit is still working. They did have / had issues the last few days, couldn’t reach anything. Would be nice if they could at least provide an update on what’s going on.

I’m surprised in most posts I’ve read about this there wasn’t a mention of Yacy which is a P2P distributed indexer / search engine. It heavily focuses on privacy. I’ve used it in the past and it worked great for my use cases to bypass censorship. It’s still actively developed after all the years. Would definitely recommend it or try it out as an replacement. The installation and usage is fairy simply.

Yeah I would also suggest to stick with 1g switches and if the need for bandwidth is required then create a LAG. 2.5g is currently just finding adoption at this point.

You could use something like https://huggingface.co/defog/sqlcoder-34b-alpha / https://github.com/defog-ai/sqlcoder however I haven’t used this one myself but it builds up on CodeLlama model so the quality should be good. I haven’t seen other models specifically for SQL queries yet.
