The Nocturne did me well, recently got the boxier one though since video cards are getting out of hand. Love NZXT though!
Is that an NZXT? It looks almost exactly like my old case I just repurposed. (And yes, it’s for water cooling but those cases have exceptional air cooling so it was never that important.)
RDP is for pro version only, and plenty of people get home version by default. There are better options, but I want to clarify that.
Key word is “a”, as in one.
Although you generally are solid in 2 to 4 range, the more important thing as it turns out is (aside from prompt payments) to make sure the credit limit is high. Those store cards with 300 limits are looked down upon.
Thanks, I’ll look into it also. I needed this a couple weeks ago but better late than never!
I mean, the average person has no idea who is running for house, especially in primaries; most have almost no name recognition (even incumbents, unless you’re AOC or MTG). That’s why money works so well, if at the very least it helps a random voter think “that name sounds familiar, let’s go with that.”
Only solution I can think of is just removing money from campaigns and having people rely on endorsements, but that’s not happening anytime soon.
To be fair, I’d be like one of two people in this world who’d rock those in public. They’d catch an eye, haha
Also quite different. I think Terraria is objectively better than base game Minecraft, though, after their respective updates (which I blame Microsoft monetization). When modded, they’re both great games.
I still love working against the clock to stop corruption from taking over my Terraria planet, though. Reclaiming land is a thing I like, but there are mods like that in Minecraft too that are really fun of you’re into it.
Jesus, you made me chuckle at a terrible story. Ooooooof.
Seriously though, it’s tragic and I hate to see someone likely murdered by an incel asshole after a date.
I felt this comment in my bones. It’s too bad my over ear buds are so old now the plastic has degraded. Regular earbuds just don’t stay in and I find them uncomfortable.
Now the real winner would be looped over your ear but using that spacial localized speaker thing Valve puts into their VR. That stuff works great, has surround sound, and you don’t feel a thing. A wonder if only exists on that headset and that headset alone.
I like “or else” meant no promotions, as if that ever meant anything in tech. If you want more money you jump to another company. This just gives them even more incentive to do that.
Fun fact, a big reason why innovation happened a lot in tech is because of this-- when a company fails to retain someone, they take their wealth of knowledge and trade secrets with them. It actually hurts companies more than just losing a person since it also gives the competition a leg up!
Keep those eyes out for working CRTs in thrift stores and garage sales. Or, I guess, estate sales? Or idk, whatever it’s called when they give dead old people stuff away. It’s a dying breed.
Point is, you need a curved screen and crazy strong scan lines. 4:3 ratio or bust.
Funny, cause my wife found that kind of annoying for some reason. Iirc, it was optional though. (I ultimately had to solo most of the ones I had, but I’ll get back into it when my kids are older, haha)
Side by side, but let’s be honest, over/under gives a better field of vision. Depends on the game, I guess.
Woe to the people with more siblings and the four way split.
Funny how I’m an era with 70inch+ TVs, split screen feels like a relic. No, instead we had to do our split screen on 18inch CRTs. Tsk.
At least it exists still in the indie sphere (and I guess Lego games, when far apart!).
Yeeeah… I vaguely remember that. Granted, he was never meant to be a role model, he’s a drug addict (although that doesn’t stop certain men from thinking he’s a badass to emulate?).
So I guess the real episode would go: one of the cool interns makes the recommendation when brainstorming around a white board, he shoots them down, and then assigns all manner of psych drugs that kinda work until the intern does the treatment themselves and get canned for it (but two seasons later we see they’re a doctor doing a great job).
Oh fuck, I forgot about this. I never got a chance to play those because my brother, and then my father, both monopolized the games. Ironic the same was true of Kingdom Hearts, and it sounds like both are released a week of one another on steam. (Yay, reliving a childhood I didn’t have!)
I don’t know about you but I’m going to have to keep my daughter away from social media! It’ll rot her brain and make her a tankie! (We are taking about Lemmy, right? /s)
That, and we both know how terribly uninformative debates are. I got similar criticism for skipping it but like, we know their policies.
