Massive blunder right there. Don’t do this.

Heat pumps (which are basically just air conditioners running in reverse) do “create” energy.
By that I mean that they provide much more heating energy than the electricity they consume, because what they do is move heat that’s already there outside (but diffuse) and concentrate it in your house.
Air conditioners cannot create energy (that is literally impossible) but they do move energy out of your home. So some models are now able to move that energy underground in the summer, where the heat doesn’t dissipate much at all, then re-use it in the winter as a heat pump to heat your home, making them both more eco-friendly and cheaper to run !
Doing the right thing for the wring reason if you ask me. I don’t think it was ever a good idea to sell incest games in the first place, but banning them because they make payment processors uncomfortable ? Fuck that.
I don’t want payment processors to be the arbiters of what we are allowed to play !
I like both games, but my playtime says I prefer Minecraft 😆 I think I like it because it’s kinda boring.
Terraria is a lot of fun, yes, but I don’t feel like I can simply exist in that world, I have to play there. Whereas in Minecraft I can more easily just chill, get kinda bored, just walk around looking at stuff and think…
I like how tranquil and slow Minecraft can be. It doesn’t feel like a game so much as an other world I have access to. I like that it leaves me alone with my thoughts.
Linux phones will hopefully fix that soon(ish)
Eh. We’ll see how it turns out 🤷🏻♀️
Do you mean iOS (iPhone) or IOS (Nintendo Wii) ? Or is there a third ?
I have had no issues with sleep on macOS, so whatever they are doing we should try to copy !
The same MacBook air, that used to last over a week with the lid closed on macOS, now needs to be charged every 3 days on Asahi NixOS.
Linux is a much better operating system, even just for the sheer variety of software available, but power management isn’t quite there yet in my experience on this laptop.
I’m having this problem on Android rn. Coming from iOS, the content density is just super low, and no amount of tweaking display/font size will fix it 🙁
My screen is 50% padding now 🤷🏻♀️
These are all backwards. The eyes are reversed so everything that’s supposed to be a hole looks like a bump and vice-versa.
EDIT : TIL about cross v wall eyed. I dont understand why they would do it this way though ? The image is much less stable, and moving it at all completely breaks the effect. Wall-eyed really allows you to move and observe details without breaking.
Publishers are cancer. Self publish whenever possible !
NixOS.
Hope she has an adult-star ex from the south of England that she gets back together with.
Then that person will be the Sussex XXX ex-ex of X’s ex-exec !
Add a whole bunch of white on white nonsense ! You can also insert letters in the middle of words with a font size of 0, although that fucks up a human copy-pasting too, so probably not recommended.
The simplest way is to make your CV an image, and include no OCR data (or nonsense OCR data) in the PDF
Non-fediverse social media is designed to be addictive because that’s how the people running it make money.
Universities have not been in the business if monetizing knowledge for decades, if not centuries.
Knowledge has been easy to access for a LONG time. Universities give you access to a well constructed curriculum, competent teachers, and a certificate you actually learnt the material somewhat decently.
American universities are too expensive, yes, but American anything means you pay more and you get less, so singling out universities is missing the forest for a tree (even if arguably one of the biggest of those trees)
Real life people use Threads !? I guess that speaks more to Twitter’s decline than Threads’ success that the numbers are getting close…
We really need a new version
Maybe it says more about me than about game pass, but even at 5€ a month it would be significantly more money than I spend on games every year.
Not that I couldn’t afford it, but I mostly play games that are at least 5 to 10 years old, either on second-hand physical copies or heavily discounted sales/keyshops. The most recent game I’ve bought is Elden Ring, even then only recently because I found a cheap physical copy.
Framework. It’s framework.
