23·20 days agoLol, that’s mostly what I do with my SDR, although lately I’ve been watching the ISS SSTV experiment.
2·5 months agoFirst operating system I ever used was probably Windows XP, first Linux distro was probably either Ubuntu or Puppy Linux on an old laptop (I remember trying out the Ubuntu web demo back in like 2014.)
Ive been enjoying Lemmy again after uninstalling reddit after growing tired of seeing nothing but bad news in my feed (probably something I could fix but at the same time I was supposed to have left the site anyways), reddit still has the edge in content but Lemmy is still a good time killer for me.
With mine (an Acer Aspire A515 I got for free from where my mom works) I get around 3 hours (according to the time remaining, although in longer use sessions at my desk I usually plug it in every hour or 2, and unplug it when its full), which is about the same as Windows thinks it is. So i would say it gets around the same battery life whether I use Windows or Linux
What the fuck did I just read? If it wasn’t for the dolphin part this would be acceptable
