You can get a used Nissan leaf for ~16k, but issue with that is their driving range can be anywhere between 80-100 miles (works great for errands and daily commuting). They didn’t “appropriate” anything. TST’s tenets are based around the Lucifer/Satan depicted in Paradise Lost, The Revolt of the Angels, and other Romantic era literary work.
