Ergodox EZ is fantastic, I’ve got zealpc zilents installed in mine for silent tactile. Expensive switches, but I’ve been transplanting them between new keyboards. I got the EZ from a friend when he wanted to go to a moonlander.

I my experience it generally breaks it. Leveraging cookies on the auth domain is fine, but once you are redirected to another domain, that application needs to take the access and refresh tokens and manage reauthentication as a background process. Simply don’t store those things as cookies though.
XP when I started going main on Linux. Windows 7 was the last version I had installed for games on a dual boot. Linux was always just more fun. I always felt like it was my computer and I wasn’t constantly fighting the computer to make it work for me. Going to a tiling window manager was the point of no return though, my workflow changed so much that my productivity outside a tiling window manager plummeted.
Credit card companies make money off selling your spending habits to information brokers.
People are already dying. Our existing system which is built on exploitation causes countless people to be sacrificed to support the way we live right now. How many people are you willing to sacrifice with poisoned waterways and medical conditions caused by unsafe working conditions, as mentioned in the article?

I’m ready to start taking steps toward a society that does not exploit people or the earth, if that means our lifespan is impacted, I’ll take that as fallout. Obviously I’d give up more of my own lifestyle as an able bodied person to support others and provide whatever I can for a just society. So yeah, if we can’t do this together, I’d rather not do it at all.
Well, you answered your own question. We need to give up on “modern society” if our way of living can’t change to ease the exploitation of peoples and the earth, we shouldn’t partake.
Tutanota doesn’t have a good way to export emails in bulk. Their feature set is getting richer, but once invested, the exit cost is quite high, speaking from experience.
mailbox.org has pretty good pgp key integration and will encrypted all emails that come in with a public key of your choosing.
Both of these statements are statistically correct
Yeah sure. I’ll pull it all down and reproduce and try to get the conflicts sorted out and push the repo up somewhere. I’ve never built a Debian kernel before but I’m sure I can figure it out!
I know C and I have a pixel 3a. I could probably help out with the kernel patches if you want. I’m not totally clear what work needs to be done. You just need someone to help get those patches merged against the mobian upstream kernel?
Nah dude, it is only “bad” and “has no value” in this capitalist economy. Keep making art, it is valuable.
From your post and your comments, it sounds like your work environment isn’t comfortable. The other topic I was expecting was that you didn’t find job satisfaction, but you didn’t say that at all.
Comfort in the workplace is something many women struggle with and working from home was liberating. If the temperature is wrong, or your seating isn’t comfortable or you don’t feel like you can take appropriate length breaks at the office, these are classic problems that need reform in the office. Humans aren’t built to sit and make small movements on a keyboard and mouse all day, it breaks you.
I encourage you to look into work reform and workers rights. You aren’t alone on this. Don’t buy into the “work isn’t supposed to be fun” thing. Work should. Matter and you should want to work, if you don’t, that is the fault of the employer, not you. I worked stupid jobs and was abused by the system for 8 years before I was able to find a tolerable place, I’m still recovering years later from frustration and burnout.
Bullshit jobs by David Graeber is a great read.
I kept a standard layout keyboard handy for about a week, it took me probably 3 weeks to transition fully. I fall immediately back into bad habits of typing on both sides of the keyboard on standard QWERTY keyboards without the ortholinear split layout, sometimes I even try to reach across the split after a day or two and hit T or Y with my index finger from the wrong hand.
