Why don’t you tell me what communism means to you. You can’t really communicate ideas if you don’t speak a common language.

This is prime example of my point.
Just so you know, we like communists (mostly, we are communists), we’re generally OK with socialists
Your statement reveals you have no knowledge of the subject or ideals you claim to believe in. Communism is a process in which to establish a Socialist utopia. It was conceived by Marx based on the Machiavellian quote “The ends justify the means.” and was laid out in the Communist Manifesto. It is a militant process in which to implement SOCIALISM by force. I am guessing you are a fan of how things worked out in China?
They simultaneously love and hate communists, socialists, fascists, “the left”, “The FAR Left”, nationalist, and liberals. While simultaneously seeming to not know what any of those things actually are. They do seem to be steadfast in their unity as far as using America as a scapegoat for all the worlds problems including all of Americas problems as though all of America is a single entity running the world both with ruthless efficiency and complete incompetence at the same time.
these people really crossing the line between “ideology” and mental illness.
apparently easily.
whats wild is its already trademarked by Microsoft for numerous use cases and by Meta for this specific use case. I just don’t know how you don’t check on that.
The worst atrocities in history have been conducted by those who were convinced it was for a righteous cause. The quote goes
“With or without religion, good people can behave well and bad people can do evil; but for good people to do evil - that takes religion.”
― Steven Weinberg
It’s has been truly bizarre watching that country commit to communal suicide even as an American. You out Murica’d America.
The scariest thing I hear time and time again from Christians is the following.
“I don’t trust people who don’t believe in god because they have no moral compass.”
They say this in such a matter of fact way. Most people have a good understanding of right and wrong without a rule book. For many that “moral compass” is intrinsic, even instinctual. It is an evolved part of humanity that helps us operate within a society. The Christian’s are saying it is a core piece of humanity that they lack and since they model their perception of others after themselves they cannot fathom that concept. They are broken humans who without a ruler/leader would be dangerously unpredictable and violent as they have no system to make good choices. This is why those same people prefer a king.
I’m pretty conflicted about this I gotta say.
most of what’s happening in todays world is not a W for capitalism. Modern conservative thoughts on capitalism have long abandoned the necessary regulation of free markets we enforced for 2 centuries. capitalism only works if markets continually divide winners at the top. If you don’t bust monopolies then capitalism begins to rapidly break down. We’ve known that for a long time and only recently stopped. You lose all the benefits of capitalism without that feature. What we have in America isn’t capitalism really at all anymore. This whole concept that the government has no role in capitalism and free markets will always correct themselves is a myth and we’ve known that since before America. John Locke knew that he was a tax collector for the english crown.
I’d never had a gun before I joined the army After I got out I was shocked to learn gun without a safety were a thing. Still just seems insane to me even though I get why they don’t.
