    ^ A foolish response

I believe it was Albert Einstein who said: “You exist in the context of all in which you live and what came before you.”

Well, there are only so many places in the world where coconut trees can grow… Although they’re increasing.

all i said is, you’re different from your parents and i’ve apparently become guilty of thought crimes.

i take an enormous amount of pleasure knowing you have zero power in the real world

                You forgot the “bitch” part.

and i’ve apparently become guilty of thought crimes.

Don’t worry. You’re not on trial here. Implying that racism has been defeated (and so easily) is what has drawn the negative attention.

i take an enormous amount of pleasure knowing you have zero power in the real world

What is this? Are you trying out an insult? Okay. I’ll let you have that one.

you seem to not be taking the piss, so i’ll clarify.

Because humans only produce like minded offspring, incapable of forming their own thoughts opinions and values. There has never been political tension between generations over schema shifts that also don’t happen.

the non-sarcastic version of this sentiment shouldn’t be so easily confused with “racism has been defeated”. racism clearly hasn’t been defeated, i wager it will never be defeated. that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do our best to correct wrongs of the past.

if you’re denying that there’s social progress and positive change with every new generation i don’t know what to tell you.

Have you switched positions? Your original comment was in opposition to a quote advising that we exist in the context of what came before us (systemic racism).

And in context of the comment you seemed to rebuke (with insult) it appeared your position was that of the modern racist who claims racism no longer exists.

I’m glad to hear you acknowledge the continued existence of the problem of racism. When I transpose your insulting comment to the text you quoted above, it seems congruent with your current line of reasoning. Perhaps your original insulting reply was intended to address that top comment you quoted instead of the Einstein quote your reply was attached to. In which case, this entire exchange is based on a simple clerical error.

Either way, the insults did not help in deciphering the intent of your comments as they made it seem like you were an asshole looking to insult progressives.

No, what you said is**:** “Because humans only produce like minded offspring, incapable of forming their own thoughts opinions and values. There has never been political tension between generations over schema shifts that also don’t happen.”

Which, based on your replies, means you think that critical race theory says that humans are incapable of change and are just carbon copies of their parents values and beliefs (it doesn’t). Which either means you have no idea what you’re talking about or you’re shit-stirring. Which, I guess we took the bait, congrats.
