Can I tell you to suck my dick?” “Will it make me money?” “Yes, lots of money.” “Will I have to actually change my practices in a meaningful way?” “No” “Lets do it. minus-squareFugtig Fisk@feddit.dklinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·3 months agoThose jokes are almost as true as companies being thrilled to see you created a new account with them or sad to see you unsubscribe a newsletter. The goal is to make them money and selling out with no consequence is a cheap way of doing that. You and your friend just fell for it and its an honest mistake
minus-squarepete_the_cat@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4·3 months agoWe didn’t “fall for” anything. It was a good movie and it was like $6 a ticket. Who would have thought that the goal of a movie is to make money? I’M SHOCKED WITH THIS NEW INFORMATION! 😮
