You’re not seeing the bigger picture. You voted. It’s all you could do. Thank you. Of course I want better from my politicians. Only I don’t pretend my choice or non choice doesn’t matter. Blaming the game is a children’s cop out. I’m not excusing the system, I hate how it is. But it is, and there was an obvious existential threat that these sit out people chose to ignore. These people don’t take their actions seriously nor understand that their actions matter.
You don’t pretend the fire in your neighbours house doesn’t matter, don’t take action because you’re upset that you might get burned, then get upset that your house burns down also. You first settle the fire, then figure how to make sure it doesn’t happen again. It’s EXACTLY the voters problem. Don’t blame the system, and definitely don’t allow an idiot to take the reins.
