    isn’t stevia a very niche sweetener? the standard one is aspartame, which btw is one of the safest compounds we know of since so much research has gone into it and the worst they can come up with is “it might increase cancer risk if you drink 50 liters of sugar-free soda per day”

      it’s “natural” so it’s in fucking everything now. I wish it was still niche because it ruins everything it touches.

      also it’s been known for awhile that any sweet taste provokes an insulin response so all non-sugar sweeteners are bad in the same way, no need for it to be literally cyanide.
