Federal prosecutors say Vance Boelter went to the homes of four Minnesota lawmakers with “the intent to kill them.” They also released images of the guns, ammo, mask and notebooks they say Boelter used to plan and carry out the attack. NBC News’ Maggie Vespa spoke with a witness who says she alerted police after spotting a man she believes was Boelter in the hours before his arrest.

    From a different article:

    A New Hope police officer happened upon Boelter in his black SUV, which he had outfitted to look like a police cruiser, and thought he was another officer dispatched to the scene. When the officer tried to speak to him, he did not respond and drove away.

    I haven’t read whether they pursued him after that, but that is absolutely wild.

        It takes half a year to become a cop in Minnesota. That’s the answer to most of this shit.
