If your civilians are randomly attacked and if they resist their ancestorial homes being stolen theyre klled…

That’s not done by the IDF, but sometimes they’re there to help. That’s done by regular citizens of Israel.

What the IDF does on their own is still war crimes, but you’re right it doesn’t justify attacking civilians.

But when these peoples only interaction with people a few miles away is that shit, it’s starts making sense how the victims don’t draw lines between civilians and military. For almost a while century that hasn’t been granted to them. Who the fuck is surprised they’re not still doing it?

You can’t look at this shit in a vacuum…

Try to imagine you’re a Palestinian. On average you’re going to be under 18. Occupation is all you’ve known, all your parents have known, and likely your grandparents as well.

Statistically you’ve known many people abducted or killed by the IDF, and at least some of them you know were completely innocent.

How can you not understand why a minority of them are resorting to this?

What other options do they have? They know they can’t win, but you want them to just lay down and die slowly? Is that what you would have done if you had the misfortune to be born in Gaza?

Lashing out when provoked is not the same as defense.

I was very clear in my first comment. Attacking civilians indiscriminately is a terror attack.

If they instead targeted IDF or even Settlers, you may be able to argue defense against occupying forces. In that sense, you could debate whether guerilla attacks are terror related. But they didn’t, so it’s a moot point.

That is not to say that the violent extremists didn’t have relatable motives. But their actions are categorically terror attacks and not defensive.
