      If you want the markdown engine to preserve line breaks, you have to put two spaces after each line before you hit Enter.

      Stop it[ ][ ]
      Mom[ ][ ]
      This is[ ][ ]
      Your warning[ ][ ]

      Etc.

      Not the brackets, obviously, just two spaces.
