It’s religion. The truth doesn’t matter, only the practices and values they want you to adopt do.

      they almost certainly weren’t

I mean, it’s not like Jesus who was probably based on a real person and a real place. They are completely made up so they might as well be white.

I just sat down with a guy who’s up in the leadership of a very large union. He says when a union member dies, they have a box that they bring to the funeral. A hand carved cedar box, and you open it up and there’s a bible. He’s an atheist, but it’s just a thing their union does. A black union member passed away, and he was tasked with bringing the box and a check to the funeral for the family. He looked in the box, and what’s in it? A black bible, I shit you not. Black Jesus and all.

So what I mean to say is it’s whatever you are. White people just broadcast their shit everywhere and I think we see more of it.

I say this being fully on both with Jesus being a brown dude. I also personally believe Jesus and Muhammad probably looked like.

That’s how it was described to me. So it’s hearsay, but yeah, basically some pictures inside with black Jesus and his black friends. I can’t comment on the content beyond that.

They didn’t exist at all, but it stands to reason that they would originally be the ethnicity of the authors of Genesis. Definitely not white!

Ngl the people in the screenshot don’t strike me as white, rather western asian or somewhere around there. Not that I have much doubt that your average american christian cartoon just intends to make everyone white.

This perception is very subjective, usually when features aren’t super obviously one group, humans just default to what they’re most used to out of what fits their general appearance. For example anime characters will usually look european to europeans, but japanese to japanese people.
