We didn’t have the internet for memes back then, so gotta make up for lost time.
I heard that sunlight causes rainbows.
I firmly believe that without lobbyists pushing us into red or blue boxes, we’d all find common ground on a lot of important issues.
I’ve known some conservatives who are very much into solar power in a sort of independent/self-sufficient/pseudo-prepper type of way.
I think the problem, as it often is, is big businesses lobbying for continued relevancy at the cost of societal progress.
Well they don’t seem to love it as much as they love coal and oil, that’s for sure, but they have been very loud about their support of nuclear in recent history.
It’s become much more bipartisan too.
Yeah, attitudes have really cooled about nuclear power over the years. We might be in a different climate position right now if we hadn’t shied away from it decades ago.
Yeah, they love it and are constantly criticizing the left for chasing renewables as a solution to our energy needs and (for the less extreme ones who accept it’s real) climate change.
People were predicting this a while back as a way that reddit would make themselves more “advertiser-friendly”.
I also wonder if there were some legal concerns in those states that now require porn sites to check IDs.
I’ve had a successful Ironman run on Commander difficulty in XCOM 2 (WOTC), but Legendary Ironman continues to elude me. I usually get back into it once or twice each year and try again. Maybe one of these days!
This looks right up my alley. Thanks for the rec!
Those old NES games broke my fear of failure, so roguelikes, soulslikes, and similar games where you have a real chance of losing are my jam.
This also applies to games with permanent roster losses like XCOM or Darkest Dungeon. I can’t get enough.
You could do what now?
I think I also hear Castlevania and Ninja Gaiden laughing.
Obviously women can also commit crimes against men, but its so much less common that I don’t have to take precautions to protect myself against them.
Yeah, I’ve never had second-thoughts about walking past some dangerous-looking women or checking over my shoulder to make sure some woman isn’t following me home. This is a regular thing that women deal with, and pretending that the experiences are anywhere close to equivalent is odd.
This has been stickied for a few months and I’m just now finally unpinning it, but not before adding it to the sidebar.
Amazing! Teaching her the old ways.
This show looks funny. I should give it a watch.
Good luck!
