Neither the Taliban nor the Vietnamese fought all branches of the US military along with all police departments. That’s not even close to equivalent. A violent revolution in the US would be impossible today unless all police and military personnel were on the side of the resistance.

The NVA fought coalition forces from 7 different countries. as well as the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Army across different parts of the country at the same time.

The Taliban fought all branches of the U.S. military as well as coalition forces from 36 different countries as well as their own police (ANP) and their own army (ANA) in all regions of Afghanistan simultaneously.

You gotta learn history, You are an idiot.

I am well aware of both of those conflicts, and name calling is childish. Comparing the military and police forces in Afghanistan to those in America, while comparing the Pakistani Armed Forces trained Taliban to average Americans, reinforces my opinion that your understanding is juvenile.

You are correct, I am the idiot here, projecting my stupidity towards you instead of looking inwards.

Comparing the military and police forces in Afghanistan to those in America

Are you ignoring the fact that the U.S. military that deployed to Afghanistan is the same military that is located in the U.S.? Like, are you deliberately being this obtuse or is my reading comprehension that bad?

while comparing the Pakistani Armed Forces trained Taliban to average Americans

Regardless of whatever you think, the shittily trained Taliban forces defeated the U.S. and coalition forces, same thing happened in Vietnam. Full stop. If you are trying to argue that U.S. military won against an under trained poorly equipped uneducated weaker insurgency, you are being dumb.

I am aware that it was some of the US military. The US would use all available forces and armaments to protect order within the nation in the event of a revolution. You also conveniently glossed over the vast difference of the Afghani police forces and the US local and state police as well as the National Guard and reserves.

Lastly, I didn’t call you an idiot. I said you’re being childish, because another person on the internet has an educated opinion that differs from your own, and you address it by resorting to name-calling. Good day.

You do not have an educated opinion.

In fact you have never provided any education in any of your views, meanwhile I’ve provided sources to all my claims.

You remain focused on the non-sequitur because you have no way to justify your preposterous opinion that is in fact proved by historical events and historical trends for your comments to be wrong as fuck.
