Unless she took some pills or sliced open her wrists on the way down, the coroner is only going say she died from a fall and plays no role in determining motivation. The daily beast sucks.

This is a misleading comment. Coroners can lead investigations into deaths. Their job is literally to investigate suspicious deaths. And yes, they can say if they suspect foul play. That’s why, in this story, the coroner stated they are investigating.

That’s a really selfish thing to do to all the students who are celebrating their achievement, not to mention her twelve year old kid. Off yourself in a way that won’t traumatize the people you leave behind. Holy shit.

That’s not possible. Suicide is an inherently selfish act.

I used to think that, it took talking to people that lost loved ones to suicide and learning more about it to feel far more empathy - imagine seeing the world without you, to picture your family happier with you gone. Utter despair where dying is the appealing option.

Yes, **if ** and that’s a massive if, this was a dramatic last act it may have been malicious or selfish….or an irrational, impulsive and ultimately tragic decision.

I feel sorry for everyone involved. Its horrible.
