Sen. Lisa Murkowski became the second Republican senator to publicly come out against President-elect Donald Trump's nomination of Matt Gaetz as attorney general.

We really need ranked choice voting, or something similar… Democrats will always be my strategic vote, but they’ll pretty much never be the first ranked vote from me.
Has to be RCV for me. In STAR voting optimizing your voting power means only picking one candidate, or your second picks could spoil you first choice. In STAR when voting for the underdog, Id never so much as rank another candidate because it would mathematically soften my vote.
With this opposition, you might as well be a one party state like China. Even if Democrats win, Republicans still end up in a position to block whatever they don’t like.
